VISIA Skin Analysis Can Spot Facial Damage That You Can’t

What if taking a simple photo on your camera could reveal hidden skin concerns that you can’t see in the mirror? You may not be able to take a picture that reveals deeper wrinkles, bacteria, red and brown spots, and other concerns, but thanks to VISIA Skin Analysis, Laser Aesthetic Center can.

We use this state-of-the-art technology and your imagery results to determine a specialized treatment plan that helps you to achieve healthier, younger looking skin.

In-Depth Skin Care Analysis

At Laser Aesthetic Center, we use the VISIA Skin Analysis to determine if skin care treatments including microdermabrasion, IPL, chemical peels, or other treatment options are best for you based on the results. Whether you’re interested in Botox, or a dermal filler like Juvederm, a VISIA Skin Analysis is the first step in helping you achieve the right results for you.

The VISIA Advantage

Here’s how the revolutionary VISIA Skin Analysis works:

Step 1: With a clean, makeup-free face, you will be asked to stand in front of the imaging unit while the capture module rotates. While rotating, facial pictures from left, right, and front will be captured.

Step 2: Intelliflash, cross-polarized and UV lighting technologies are utilized to capture skin conditions. We will then create a detailed map of your skin on both a surface and subsurface level.

Step 3: After the imaging system generates an analysis of your skin, Laser Aesthetic Center will then analyse your images. During this process, we will be examining the images for UV spots, wrinkles, pores, red or brown spots, hyperpigmentations, rosacea, porphyrins, acne, and spider veins.

Step 4: After examining the images, we will then discuss a detailed report of your skin analysis with you. This report will include a percentile score to compare your skin with others around the world with a similar age demographic and type of skin.

Step 5: Your results will be factored into any treatment recommendations, and we will create a specialized treatment plan for you and your specific needs.

Below the Surface Concerns

VISIA’s photographic technology captures a clear, multi-dimensional image of select facial areas while examining the severity of various age-related conditions such as:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Hyperpigmentation (age/dark spots)
  • Enlarged pores
  • Skin tone evenness (color variation)
  • Porphyrins (evidence of bacterial growth)
  • Sun damage (UV spots)

Benefits of Skin Analysis

There is a significant advantage to knowing what is going on beneath the surface of your skin. If you suffer from hyperpigmentation, acne, melasma, rosacea, sun damage, or merely aging skin, then this is the perfect assessment for you. At Laser Aesthetic Center, we have the ability to design targeted facial treatment programs while utilizing this advanced detection system.

Clear Results In One Hour

During your appointment, one of our experienced staff members will examine your complexion and ask your skincare history. Together, we will review your skincare routine, allergies, and any skin health issues and concerns that you may already have. After discussing how you would like for your skin to improve, the VISIA Digital Skin Analysis will be performed. Product and treatment recommendations will be based on the precise results of the scan. The entire process typically takes about one hour for a one-on-one skin evaluation and is completely pain-free with no discomfort involved.
