About Issa E. Muasher, M.D.

Dr. Muasher is a physician and surgeon with over 32 years of experience in medicine and surgery in Chicago. He received extensive cosmetic laser training (in Washington D.C., Milwaukee and Chicago) to become fully certified to perform advanced laser treatments.

Elias Muasher – President and Managing Director

Elias Muasher is President and Managing Director of Laser Aesthetic Center. He is a proven leader in the Chicago business community. Mr. Muasher earned an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a BA in Finance from Loyola University of Chicago.

Our Aestheticians: Kathy, Yasmin, and Megan

All aestheticians at the Laser Aesthetic Center are licensed in the state of Illinois and have many years of experience in all services offered. They have undergone training and certification by the following medical device and laser manufacturers: Cynosure^®, Palomar^®, Cutera^®, and CoolSculpting,^® and continuously advance their knowledge to remain on the forefront of laser medicine and skin care.

Expansion to Body Contouring & Laser Skin Resurfacing

Our range of treatments includes the leading body contouring procedure, CoolSculpting. This is the only FDA-cleared procedure that uses advanced cooling technology to safely target and freeze fat cells.* Our newly remodeled office and treatment rooms, along with the expertise of our medical staff, provide a safe and comfortable environment to treat and remove fat on the neck, thighs, stomach, flanks, love handles, muffin top and other problem areas.*

We also offer the PicoSure Focus skin resurfacing laser. We are one of the few centers in the Midwest that have the capability to offer this laser. The PicoSure sets the standard for the newest generation of tattoo removal devices. Delivering some of the fastest and most effective tattoo clearance available, the PicoSure has the power to remove even the most stubborn inks.*

An impressive additional application of the PicoSure laser is its ability to offer a downtime-free skin rejuvenation procedure. The results rival competing technologies associated with heavy downtime and side effects. This procedure is called PicoSure FOCUS and it is FDA-cleared for the treatment of acne scars. We have also seen remarkable results treating melasma, with patients seeing drastic improvements.* Additionally, the FOCUS treatment has the ability to smooth out wrinkles around the mouth, eyes and other areas of the face.*

Our Hair Removal Lasers

We have been providing expert laser hair removal since 2006. We offer a range of hair removal lasers to remain at the forefront of cutting-edge laser technology, and our lasers are continually updated to incorporate new advances. We now have the ability to offer a dedicated solution for high-volume hair removal that provides fast, uniform, lasting hair reduction to the widest range of skin and hair types – without sacrificing comfort. Large treatment areas such as full body hair removals, full legs, chest and back have become a quick, safe and even more effective treatment than what was ever capable of before. The new spot size has enabled us to cut the treatment duration time by more than half and patient feedback has been very positive and exciting.*

Anti-Aging Solutions

We also are excited to continue providing laser solutions to fine lines and wrinkles, brown spots, age spots, sun spots and loose skin. Our Medical Doctor performs all the injections at our facility including Botox, Dysport, Juvederm and Restylane. Injections are an art form and we believe the skill and mastery of the techniques used has made our customers and patients happy and excited.*

As we always have in the past, we continue to maintain our array of lasers on a yearly basis where we hire specialized laser technicians to perform maintenance checks on the calibrations, the power output, the cooling tips and safety mechanisms.  Doing this ensures that our lasers continue to operate at maximum efficiency. We have found that the addition of new technology coupled with stringent equipment maintenance schedules have been the key to achieving desired results and increasing customer satisfaction.*

Practice Credentials

We know that new technology must be coupled with high standards of training for our staff. All of our aestheticians are licensed in the state of Illinois and are up to date on the Continuing Education requirements that the state requires. All of our staff has been trained and have received certificates of completion by the laser manufacturers in order to ensure that each person who operates the laser is highly skilled and very aware of all safety protocols. Plus the high frequency of laser procedures our staff performs has given us the experience necessary to confidently treat our clients.
